Pierre-André Tilley
Pierre-André Tilley est probablement le plus célèbre des illustrateurs de magazines d'aviation : je savoure depuis de nombreuses années ses profils d'avions, très réalistes. J'ai longtemps cherché à contacter cet artiste mais en vain. Jusqu'au jour où, une fois de plus, l'ARDHAN (Association pour la Recherche de Documentation sur l'Histoire de l'Aéronautique Navale), association méritante à laquelle j'adhère et qui m'avait permis de trouver des informations sur mon grand-père, me permit de contacter P.A. Tilley. Ce dernier m'autorisa à lui consacrer une rubrique, bien méritée, au sein de ma galerie d'art.
Pierre-André Tilley is probably the most famous illustrator of aviation magazines : I enjoy since many years his so realistic aircraft's profiles. I tried many times to contact this artist but without any success. Until that day when, once more, the ARDHAN (Association for the Search for Documentation on the History of Naval Aviation), a deserving association of which I am a member and which allowed me to find information on my grandfather, enabled me to contact P.A. Tilley. Mister Tilley authorized me to create a specific section, within my art gallery, dedicated to his artwork.
